- Device type, operating system version, app version

- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
Information from third-party integrations
- Apple Health: If you connect Apple Health, Mufo may read and write workout data to and from the Health app. You control this permission in your iPhone Settings.
- Strava: If you connect Strava, Mufo will sync your completed workouts to your Strava account using Strava's official API. You can disconnect at any time in the app settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Mufo app and its features
- To generate AI-powered insights and training recommendations based on your workout history
- To display your personal records, analytics, and progress trends
- To sync data with Apple Health and Strava when you have enabled these integrations
- To send workout reminders if you have enabled them
- To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
- To respond to your support requests
We do not use your data to serve advertisements. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. AI Features
Mufo includes AI-powered features such as Progress Insights, Training DNA analysis, and personalised recommendations. These features analyse your workout history locally or via our secure servers to generate outputs. This data is used solely to provide the feature to you and is not used to train external AI models or shared with third parties.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third-party services that help us operate the app (e.g. hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements
- Integrations you authorise: Apple Health and Strava, only when you explicitly connect them
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred — you will be notified in advance
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Mufo is an iOS application. Data stored on your device is protected by iOS device encryption. You should use a device passcode or biometric authentication to protect your device.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access: You can view all your workout data within the app at any time
- Export: You can export your data from the app settings
- Deletion: You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.
- Integrations: You can disconnect Apple Health or Strava at any time from Settings → Integrations
- Notifications: You can disable workout reminders in Settings → Notifications or in your device Settings
8. Children's Privacy
Mufo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notice or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of Mufo after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
